📅 Emergency Lighting Test Schedule

Monthly Flick Test:

Simulate a mains failure using the test switch or isolating the primary circuit.
Check that all emergency lights illuminate correctly.
Inspect LED indicators (red/green) for AC and battery health.
Look for signs of wear, damage, or dirty diffusers.
Record results in the Fire Log Book.

🧪 Annual 3-Hour Test

Simulate a full power failure for 3 hours.
Ensure all emergency lights stay illuminated for the full duration.
Test battery charging and perform capacity checks.
Conduct a full inspection of luminaire condition.
Results must be recorded in the Fire Log Book.

🔄 All remedial works between inspections must also be documented.

🔄 Bi-Annual Servicing
